Dragon Mountain
Dragon Mountain is reasonably close to Astra, a trip that only takes a day to the north east along the coast. However, the gods do not allow Astra to claim rulership over the mountain itself. The surface of a mountain is shaped like a dragon standing upright. It's wings wrap around to become the back side of the mountain. The mountain draws to it lizard-like creatures such as kobolds, lizard men, and even dragons looking at this curiosity. There is certainly something divine about the structure as though the mountain itself was shaped by the gods.
Dragon Mountain Temple
Order of the Dragon Knights' home is the Temple inside the mountain. They have proven they are honorable and wise enough to enter this holy place. They may use any entry point from the ground level access all the way up to the open eyes and mouth.
Restricted Access
The mountain itself issues tests in the caves from its base. The tests will test the honor and wisdom of those that enter. There are three tests for each person who enters, if a party enters as a group then each test must be passed by the group as a whole otherwise they find themselves exiting the mountain at one of the many entrances at the base of the mountain. A party of four would have to pass the 12 tests by working together to be able to gain entry into the mountain.
Once the tests have been passed those that have succeeded allow one to pass through the maze as easily as walking down a hallway once they have been completed, separating them from those who have yet to pass the tests. Those that have passed the tests will now find the mouth and eyes at the summit are now open to that individual.
Establishments and Services
Shrine to Saraheniel
A Shrine to Saraheniel. Tasks the Order should look into are posted in this shrine.
Hall of the Dragon Knights
The order's main hall is voluminous and tall. The chamber stands over 45 feet tall and two hundred feel long, and 75 feet wide. It contains many distinct areas for eating and training, fire pits dot the interior for warmth and light, each no more than 4 feet across. The hall itself connects directly with the other resources the order offers.
Blacksmith: Forge of the Dragon Knights
The forge itself is carved stone in the shape of a dragon's head. The chimney makes up the top of the head and the forge is the lower jaw. The teeth allow accessories to be used in the forge, like the smelting pot and mold stations.
Inn: Barracks of the Dragon Knights
This is laid out much like a tavern, except quarters for the leaders do not contain additional space for bunks rather an office where things may be planned.
Tavern: Cafeteria of the Dragon Knights
This area contains the kitchen and some space to eat for members of the order. However the area can only comfortably seat about 20 people, beyond this members need to filter into the main hall.
Stable: Dragon Stables
This stable is capable of containing hundreds of large mounts. Each stall leads to two corridors, one goes to the eyes of the dragon mountain, allowing for external access. The second allows for entry from the main hall, and there for the conventional entrances. Also, each contains a dragon egg that will only hatch when a member who that egg wishes to partner with joins the order. A member must advance 1 level to have the egg hatch, they must advance two more levels working for the Order before their dragon will be strong enough to become their mount.
Mine of Dragon Temple
The mine deep into the mountain and down is rich will metals of all kinds, including Adamant and Mithral, as well as platinum, gold, and electrum.
