As of 182, Prince Lurian Trax, the son of a powerful member of the Council of Astra, who mocked her background but challenged her to create a Greatsword of Sharpness to prove her worth for his father's patronage. Liren spent six months infusing her divine essence into the blade, only for Lurian to steal the sword upon its completion. He claimed the masterpiece as his own acquisition and dismissed Liren as an unworthy soot-stained child. Refusing to accept the dishonorable breach of their pact, Liren used her Mage Hand to snatch the sword back from the Prince’s own scabbard and vanished into the city. To retaliate for his public humiliation, Lurian used his political influence to strangle the Hammerfist business. He orchestrated "delays" from suppliers, targeted the forge with false guild inspections, and warned customers away, effectively ruining the family's livelihood. Now, in 182 there are posters all over the area and on the forge itself that are claims of fraud and sub-par craftsmanship.
