Description: The village is a vertical slum of bleached driftwood and grey stone.
Location: 160 Miles West of the Astra, 0.5 Miles from the western edge of The Gap, at the mouth of the Gelf River.
Geography: Built on high bluffs overlooking the "Gelf River" (or the ocean leading to it). It is not visible from Astra.
Role: It is the primary port for the Cult of Lilino. They sit at the River Gelf mouth watching each boat pass before it hits the open sea.
The Spire of Storms: A lighthouse used to lure ships onto the shoals during storms.
The "Angels" Cove: A hidden sea-cave dock beneath the cliffs. This is where the Orlock submersibles surface. The Cultists line the docks in prayer, believing the "Grey Angels" are rising from the divine soot of the ocean floor to receive their tithes.Â
Race Position (Communities): Fanatical Homogeneity. Outsiders are viewed as "Unclean" or "Offerings" unless they convert.
Race Position (Segregation): Theological Hierarchy. The "God-Touched" (those selected by the Angels) live in the High-Bluff; the unchosen live in the Driftwood Slums.
Race Position (Rights): Theocratic Tyranny. Rights are determined by one's utility to the rituals and the "Angels."
Languages: Common, Aquan (Religious tongue), and Orlock (viewed as "High Tongue/Angel Speak").
Literacy: Moderate. Scripture is mandatory; other knowledge is suppressed as heresy.
Technology Level: Low Medieval / Cargo Cult. They use primitive tools but revere the advanced "Relics" (scanning tech) provided by the Angels as holy artifacts.
Industries \ Trades: Wrecking (False Lights), Deep-Sea Fishing, and "Genetic Tithes" (Breeding programs for the Angels).
Arms \ Equipment: Harpoons, Gaffs, Scavenged Daggers. The Elite Guard wears armor adorned with "Angel Metal" (scavenged Orlock alloys).
Government System: Theocratic Oligarchy.
Ruler(s): High-Bishop Oryn (The man who killed Slade's friend ) and the Council of Tides.
Came to power by: Divine Selection (orchestrated by covert Orlock support).
Social Alignment: Neutral Evil (Sincere Religious Zealotry).

Rebelliousness: None. The population is indoctrinated to believe the "Angels" protect them from the unworthy world.
Brigandage: Opportunistic Scavenging. They use false lights to wreck ships, believing Lilino delivers the cargo as a blessing.
