Moss-Hollow is built into a natural depression on the very eaves of the Gelf-Woods. The houses are partially subterranean, with sod roofs covered in the same thick, luminescent "Glow-Moss" that the villagers harvest. At night, the village glows with a soft, ethereal green light. The air is humid and smells of damp earth and drying herbs, creating a serene, almost Fey-like atmosphere that contrasts sharply with the dusty Gap.

Founded in Y98 by refugees fleeing the "Dust-Storms" of the central-east farmlands. They discovered that the deep shade of the hollow allowed for the growth of rare medicinal mosses that couldn't survive elsewhere in the Gap. For decades, it remained a hidden commune until Gelf-Port merchants "discovered" them in Y135. Rather than seizing the town, the Council "adopted" it, providing protection in exchange for a monopoly on the medicinal "Glow-Moss" trade, which is highly sought after in Astra for its healing properties.
