Embrace the darkness of the heart and the darkness of the night, for that is where true desire resides. Death is merely a necessary journey, and I am your guide."
Tenets for Followers (The "Thou Shalt"s):
"Thou shalt satisfy the lusts that rise within you, and seek to satisfy the lusts of others."
"Thou shalt use the darkness, both literal and metaphorical, to your advantage."
"Thou shalt not hesitate to take what you desire (be it pleasure or goods)."
"Thou shalt never interfere with my work as the Psychopomp (escorting the dead)."
Sins & Taboos (The "Thou Shalt Not"s):
"To deny or shame aggressive lust."
"To attempt to bring a soul back from the cycle after I have collected it."
"To steal from the dead (the 'payment' is already mine)."

"The Escort": A ritual performed over a fresh corpse to ensure the soul is safely delivered to the Underworld (her primary function).

Holy Days:
"The Darkest Night": The Winter Solstice. A night dedicated to her worship.
The Great Shattering: Suel was once part of the ancient entity Noi'Essap (The Goddess of Pure Desire). When Noi'Essap shattered, Suel received the mantle of the darkness, the aggressive lust, and the inescapable truth of death and endings.
The Psychopomp's Duty: Suel is the crucial link in the Cycle of Life and Death. She collects the dead, presents them to Saery for judgment, watches as Ezma carries out the sentence, and then takes the "rehabilitated" soul to El to be reborn.
The Scythe of Finality: Her scythe is not a weapon of murder, but a tool of collection. When murder occurs, it is an invitation for her to arrive early, but she only harvests what has already fallen.
