Gender / Form: Masculine. His "dragon" form is a massive, majestic dragon with platinum scales. His "human" form is a kindly, white-haired old man, often accompanied by seven golden canaries (who are seven ancient gold dragons in disguise).

Holy Symbol: A dragon's head in profile, scales shining, in silver or platinum.
Favored Weapon: Longsword or Greatsword (often depicted as a "just" weapon)
Favored Colors: Platinum, silver, and white.
Sacred Animals / Plants: All good-aligned dragons, the canary (as a "disguise").
Core Dogma (The Philosophy): "Uphold the highest ideals of honor and justice. Be a bulwark against evil, but a shield for the weak. Speak the truth, be compassionate, and let your word be your bond. True strength is not in tyranny, but in the protection of those who cannot protect themselves. Be the platinum standard."

Tiamat (Goddess of Evil Dragons): His arch-nemesis, sister, and the embodiment of all he fights against.
Mortals: Bahamut is widely revered, especially by paladins, just rulers, and those who fight for good. He is known to walk among mortals, testing their hearts and offering aid to the worthy.

"The Wyrm's-Rest": A day of mourning for all good dragons who have fallen in the fight against evil.
"The Platinum-Standard": A day of oaths, where new paladins are sworn in, and followers re-dedicate themselves to justice.
The War of the Scaled: The core myth. The eternal battle between Bahamut and his sister, Tiamat, for the "soul" of dragon-kind.
The Seven Canaries: The well-known story of Bahamut's disguise as an old man, and his seven ancient gold dragon companions who hide as simple birds, watching and judging the world of mortals.Â
