The Roost is not a city you walk into; it's a city you look up at. Founded by the reincarnated Tabaxi and Owlin, who took one look at the squabbling, ground-based races and chose the sky, The Roost is a vertical metropolis.
It is a dizzying, chaotic network of rope bridges, cliff-carved eyries, and suspended platforms built onto the face of the bay's highest sea-cliffs. The wind whistles constantly through its "streets," and the only "law" is based on speed and cunning. The Tabaxi and Owlin who live here are the undisputed messengers, scouts, spies, and (most often) smugglers of the Bay. It's a fantastic place to get information, but a terrible place to be if you are afraid of heights or have a heavy coin purse.
