Identity: The Scouts / The Signalers.
Role: Long-range communication, Flare-throwing, Fire-watching.
Reputation: Flashy, arrogant, but essential. They are the ones who light the "Gap-Beacons" to guide nomadic caravans during the "Dust-Outs."
Base of Operations: The Glass Tower. A series of wagons equipped with massive, magical mirrors used for heliograph communication.
Economy: The Light-Lease. They sell magical torches and "Day-Light" stones to miners and subterranean clans.
🐉 The Dragon Tradition: "The Solar Taming"
The Method: The candidate must use a mirror-array to "blind" a Red Dragon and then lead it out of its cave into the direct sunlight to demand its allegiance.
The Mounts: Red Dragons. They leverage the fire-breath to keep the beacons lit and the night at bay.
Prominent Figure: Captain Solan Helia
Role: Master of Signals.
Mortal Status: Human Male (29).
Gristle: Solan is a "Fire-Walker." He survived a Hezrou ambush by setting the forest around him on fire and walking through the flames using a temporary protective charm. He is at the Inn to scout the "Astra Glow" and see if the gods are finally returning light to the North.
