Mile 25 South of Astra
Venger’s Rest is a village of white stone and gleaming steel. It is built around a central cathedral dedicated to the High Gods. The sound of clanking armor and rhythmic prayer fills the air. It serves as a "Moral Anchor" for the central Gap, providing a safe haven for those traveling the dangerous road toward the Demesne.

Named for the "Venger" (Paladin) role within Deva society, this village was established by a group of Paladins who grew weary of the Grand Marshall's political games. Rather than remaining in the staging realms, they descended to the Prime Plane to offer actual protection to the mortal refugees fleeing the Demesne. While they are no longer part of the "Official" Army, they maintain the traditions of the Vengers, protecting the road and those who walk it.
