Description: A massive, singular volcanic peak that glows with a sickly, fel-green light rather than natural orange magma. The sky above it is a permanent vortex of storm clouds.

Hell's Mountain is a massive, singular volcanic peak that dominates the horizon of the deep Demesne. It does not glow with natural orange magma; the vents weep a sickly, fel-green light. The sky above it is a permanent, swirling vortex of storm clouds, reacting to the massive concentration of evil trapped within.
Prior to Year 82, the mountain was a literal pitfall into and out of the Hells. Any demon or devil with wings could simply fly out, threatening Astra and the entire continent with massive invasion. In Year 82, the Party of Arwon intervened. Using their immense arcane and divine power, they constructed "The Door" at the caldera's summit.
The Seal: It is a metaphysical barrier that locks the physical exit. No fiend can physically cross the threshold out on their own.
The Global Loophole (The True Name): The Door was designed with a specific condition: a denizen of the Hells must be specifically asked for to exit. If a mortal on the outside speaks a fiend's True Name, the Door unlocks for that specific entity.
The Purpose: This was not an error; it was a safety valve allowing for specific retrievals or bindings, preventing the pressure of the trapped Hells from shattering the mountain.
The Danger: The summoner does not need to be at the mountain. They can be anywhere in the world. If a wizard in Arwonia speaks the name, The Door unlocks, allowing the fiend to teleport instantly to the summoner. This mechanism is exactly how the Devil that possessed Speaker Xarros bypassed the prison's defenses.
Location: Hell's Gate, a fortress of black iron at the mountain's base. Ruler: Matron Zariel Abraxas (Cambion).
With "The Door" sealed, the mission of Yadrea Abraxas evolved. Her clan guards against physical breakouts, but they also exploit the very loophole they protect.
The Breeding Program: Clan Abraxas uses the "True Name" condition strategically. The Matrons of the clan will intentionally summon specific, high-power fiends to the mountain's base—not to release them, but to mate with them. They use these controlled summons to sire generation after generation of stronger Tieflings and Cambions.
They are the "Good" guys, but they look like the enemy. They are a family of monsters bred to fight monsters, using the Hells' own genetics to ensure the Door remains shut to everyone but themselves.
