Location: The Volcanic Island (Arcane Isles, off Arwonia).
Philosophy: Way of the Astral Self (The Spirit), Way of the Sun Soul (The Fire).
Character: Ozaria (Demigod of Alsaria).
Lore: Just as the Hydra grows two heads when one is cut, the monks here teach that the Spirit is infinite. Ozaria came here feeling "formless" and learned to manifest her true, multi-armed Astral Self amidst the volcanic heat.
The founding of the monastery is another "origin story" from the first years of the Fifth World.
When the "First Party" (Ghale Anthwun's heroes) landed and built Astra (Y2), and the "Second Landing" (the chaotic city-states) founded the Bay of Rebirth, a "Third Landing" happened on the volcanic islands 85 miles off the Arwonian peninsula.
These reincarnated souls were not aristocrats or merchants. They were Monks. They were a small, unified group of ascetics, philosophers, and martial artists from a previous world. They did not want a city or a kingdom. They sought only a place of perfect, harsh isolation to rebuild their order.
The volcanic island, with its active magma flows and sterile, rocky shores, was perfect. It was a place of pure, primal power. Here, they built their monastery, not as a fortress, but as a place of contemplation.
The first masters, in meditating on their new, chaotic, multi-faceted world, developed their core philosophy: The Hydra.
They saw the "Hydra" as the ultimate symbol of adaptation and reality:
"If you are cut off by an ocean, you must learn to project your spirit" (The Way of the Astral Self).
"If your body is your only tool, you must make it a weapon" (The Way of the Kensei).
"If you are surrounded by volcanic darkness, you must create your own light" (The Way of the Sun Soul).
Their monastery was founded on this "three-headed" doctrine. It became a legendary place of pilgrimage for any martial artist seeking true mastery. They had no army, no government, and no economy—only their reputation. They were, and are, the undisputed masters of martial arts on the continent.
