The City of Silken Bridges
Description: Moonrise does not sit on the ground; it floats above it. The city is a collection of ten massive "Elder Trees" connected by wide, bioluminescent silk-suspension bridges and carved wooden walkways. The "High-Docks" protrude from the upper canopy like wooden fingers, welcoming K'thari merchants. The air is filled with the scent of pine and incense, and the sound of wind chimes covers the distant roar of the forest floor below.
Race Position High-Elven Dominance. The "Moon-High" districts are exclusive to Elves. Humans/Dwarves inhabit the "Trunk-Districts."
Government Direct Ducal Rule. Ruled directly by Duchess Xanaphia Xilonodel.
Population ~15,000 (High Density).
Primary Trade K'thari Imports (Crystal, Artifacts) & Fine Art.
Key Location:
The Warden's Roost: A fortress in the upper branches commandeered by the Metallic Dragon Wardens. It is a stark, militaristic block of ironwood that clashes with the city's artistic flow.
The Pilgrim's Spiral: The exposed, winding ramp on the central tree that youth must climb. It is a grueling physical test.
Defense The Palace Guard (Bladesingers) and Abjuration Wards on the bridges.
