Location: Tucked inside a dense, twisted grove of mangroves growing directly onto the beaches of Taneen's northern shore.
Origin: Established in 170 A.A. as a hidden, mobile sanctuary following the rescue of nearly 60 captives from the Aer Galen cult processing facility.
Demographics: Formed as a refugee community of castaway sailors, women, mothers, and children who relied on Zamiriel's party for protection.
Divine Manifestation: Following Zamiriel's return to life from the Court of Saery, the goddess No'Mitra manifested physically within the central clearing of the mangrove camp.
The Mother's Blessing: No'Mitra kissed the foreheads of the assembled refugees to heal their lingering wounds and declared a permanent divine covenant over the site: "May this mangrove always shelter the wives and mothers of the world from harm."
Relief from Divine Curses: Within the grove, No'Mitra shielded the pregnant women—including Zarki, Tylmae, and Zamiriel—from the malicious curses of Noi. She restored Zarki's freedom by freezing her infertile curse cycle and allowing her child to grow naturally.
Hidden Camp Clearings: The settlement consists of discreet, interconnected tent clearings nestled within the thick mangrove branches, providing visual cover from coastal raiders and passing dragons.
Harvested Salvage: The village was outfitted using farming tools, dried food reserves, and fishing gear harvested from the defeated cult settlement at Aer Galen.
Divinely Shielded Coastal Haven: Mangrove Village remains a permanent, peaceful coastal sanctuary.
Protected Habitat: The surrounding mangrove roots support thriving nursery grounds for coastal fish, blue ocean water, and abundant timber, continuing No'Mitra's perpetual shield over traveling wives, mothers, and castaways.
