Arcanus is the city constructed by magic and is a magnificent display of what magic can do. The effort put forth to construct it represents a decade of spells of all levels used daily to create permanent structures that in many cases deny engineering. The city has its own Transport Circle that is the largest size one is capable of being. Arcanus also houses the Arwonian College of Arts. This is a school of higher learning for Wizards, trading in spells to expand it's already extensive library of spells and arcane knowledge and lore.
Although this kingdom is rule by King Arwon or one of his regents while he is away, there is a Council of Mages that run the school who also have their chambers in the city. The council makes all the annual guiding decisions for the school, then passing off their edicts to the headmaster and deans to follow. These individuals may not all be arcane spellcasters but all have great authority in the kingdom.
One of the things Baron Chancellor Iccasash Vorrash insisted upon what that the town contain temples or at least shrines to most of the Deities. Outside of Nis, Mok, and Sucar, Churches or shrines to all the deities can be found in Arcus. The largest church in the town is the Church of the Magi, where the Gods of Magic are worshipped. This church can allow the entire planned occupancy of the town to sit and pray together, so over 30,000 people can be in this one amphitheater.
It is also the sometimes home to the floating fortress Senzynia which is a town unto itself, often it can be found floating nearby.

The college comprises many buildings, the area of the city that contains the college is walled off from the rest of the city. The walls are higher and thicker than even higher and thicker than the wall that protects the city itself. There are buildings for arcane traditions, Sorcerer learning centers, Warlock pact library, the Spell library, and the research lab complex. Each school has its own campus and are largely left on their own. The wings of the central building are connected to each school of magics campus, magically, allowing quick transport from the central building to whereever the campus was able to be constructed at. There were 7 wings that were unassigned when the shool was built, an admission of incomplete knowledge. One of those has been taken by Chronorgy leaving room for 6 more undiscovered schools of magic.

This massive amphitheater is able to seat the entirety of the town, making it the largest single structure in the entire city.
A shop that sells powders or things to grind into powders. Sells custom tea blends and powdered spell components.
Cozy, burrow-style tavern.

This is the lake that filled with water when Senzynia broke free from the ground and started to float. Market Street used to end at the Palace, but it now loops around the lake and through Arcanus going in and out of the Town's main gates.
