Core Dogma: "Choice is the only property that truly belongs to you. While the Great Ones pull the world apart with their Destiny, you must choose to learn, to build, and to innovate. Stagnation is the only true failure. You are the architect of your own soul's blueprint."
Tenets for Followers:
Constant Growth: Never stop learning; a mind that ceases to acquire knowledge is a mind that has surrendered its volition.
Accountability: Take ownership of every choice, for each decision is a line drawn on your own life's blueprint.
Support the Wake: Help those swept up in the destinies of others to find the strength to rebuild their own paths.
Superiors: Aso (High God). Elaran represents the individual's agency within the "Gravity" that Aso monitors.
Spouse: Aso.
Theology: He is the patron of the "un-destined"—the millions who live outside the scripts of fate. He teaches that their choices are just as vital to the universe as the destiny of any hero.
Name of the Church: The Academy of Volition (The Blueprint Fellowship).
Acolytes: Seekers. Students who have committed themselves to mastering a single craft, science, or field of lore.
Priests: Instructors. Traveling scholars and builders who establish schools, libraries, and aid in city planning.
Bishops: Masters of the Blueprint. High-ranking administrators who oversee the construction of grand magical works or civil infrastructure.
Temple Description: Centers of Learning. Temples function as public universities, grand libraries, or guild halls. They are filled with drafting tables, archives, and debate chambers.
Rites & Rituals: * The Thesis: A rite of passage where a follower presents a significant new discovery, an architectural plan, or a masterwork item to their peers.
The Vow of Deciding: A ritual performed before a major life decision, seeking the clarity of mind to choose a path with full volition.
Holy Days: The Day of the First Spark. A festival celebrating the first time a mortal chose to innovate—the discovery of fire, the first tool, or the first spell.
The Eternal Student: Elaran has lived many lives and borne many names, from the Sunwalker to Zinmenor. His history is one of continuous learning and adaptation. His most defining moment was his return from death—an event orchestrated by Aso’s destiny but fulfilled by his own volition to live again. He remains the primary advocate for the power of the individual will against the tides of the cosmos.
