Core Dogma (The Philosophy): "Life is the Great Prize. It is the holiest state of being. Create it. Nurture it. Protect it. Heal it. Do not destroy it, for that is the one, great sin. Good, Evil, Law, Chaos... these are the fleeting concerns of a single life. The act of Life is eternal and paramount."
Tenets for Followers (The "Thou Shalt"s):
"Thou shalt bring new life into the world."
"Thou shalt heal the sick and wounded."
"Thou shalt protect the pregnant, the mother, and the child."
"Thou shalt nurture the "flora and fauna" of the world, for they are the vessels of life."
"Thou shalt not destroy life."
Sins & Taboos (The "Thou Shalt Not"s):
"To destroy life for any reason. (This is the great sin)."
"To deny healing to one who asks for it."
"To strike a pregnant woman or a new mother."
"To wantonly destroy a forest, field, or river (the "cradles" of life)."

Ezma (High God of Death): Her direct counterpart and "co-worker." El creates life, and Ezma manages it after death. Their relationship is not one of animosity, but of profound, necessary balance. They are the two halves of the cycle.
Mortals: Worshipped by all, but especially by healers, parents, midwives, farmers, and druids. She is one of the most beloved and widely-worshipped deities.

Mellyrnnadaja (Light)
Orb Caster (Light)
Ylithyrra Galanevae (Knowledge)

Clergy Structure: A nurturing, community-based hierarchy.
Acolytes: "The Seedlings"
Priests: "Life-Keepers"
Bishops: "Hearth-Mothers" or "Hearth-Fathers"
Temple Description: Temples are almost always a combination of a hospital, an orphanage, and a greenhouse. They are bright, clean, and full of plants and the sound of running water.
Rites & Rituals:
"The Birthing Song": A ritual chant performed during childbirth.
"The Consecration of the Field": A blessing for farmers at the start of the planting season.
"The Healing Touch": The daily rite of all clerics, offering healing to any who need it.
Holy Days:
"The Vernal Equinox": The first day of Spring, celebrated as the "Great Rebirth."
"The Mother's Day": A day celebrating all mothers, midwives, and healers.
The War of the Barren: A core myth. It is said a great, forgotten "barren" god sought to make all life sterile. El, in her only act of "war," did not fight the god. Instead, she walked the barren lands behind him, and life bloomed so fast and so pure that his sterility was overwhelmed. The moral: Life is always stronger than that which destroys it.
The Green Moon: El's divine realm is the Green Moon, one of the two moons in the sky. It is said to be a lush, verdant paradise. Her influence also extends into the Feywild.
El's Law: When a follower of El is faced with a choice between "Law" and "Life" (e.g., "The law says to execute this man") or "Good" and "Life" (e.g., "This man is evil, but he is wounded"), the "Life" choice always takes precedence.
